Living under Conditions of Technological Risks

Abstract

The main distinctive feature of the modern technological risks is the globalization of their consequences. The disastrous effects for society produce changes in the social system in whole. The Chernobyl catastrophe is a warning sign. Expert opinions are often diametrally opposite. But it just opens the possibility for philosophical discussion. In this case eyewitness accounts are equally important, because this is not only a technological, economical and scientifc, but also an ethical, political and social problem.
