Luhmann and Latour: the Possibility of System and Network Approaches Convergence
Abstract
The article discusses the prospects of the synergetic interaction of network and system approaches of B. Latour and N. Luhmann in the context of the emerging paradigm of complexity (E. Morin). It highlights the key role of the concept of observer for both approaches. Attention is drawn to the potential role of the experience of understanding the problem of observer in quantum physics.
