Global Cultural Alternative: China - West
Abstract
Like the Earth, the world is bipolar and China has been one of its poles through most of the human history, as it will be in the 21st century. Its book of books - the Book of Changes (or the Yi Jing) - foreruns the binary code of all computer programs, and hieroglyphics may become the language of international communication on the Internet. In the visual world of today pictures oust words and the old culture of characters gets a new life. Thus sinology becomes a universal science of the humanity's past and future, of the dialog between civilizations and of the fate of Russia.
