Ideology in the Age of Civilizational Challenges and Global Transformations
Abstract
Section introduction. In the current issue, we resume the discussion initiated in 2023 under the rubric “Ideology and Strategy for Russia’s Development,” which is dedicated to conceptualizing modern Russia’s civilizational project and identifying the ideological foundations necessary for the dynamic advancement of Russian statehood in the 21st century. While the relevance of this subject matter has long been evident, the imperative to revive a state ideology has become increasingly urgent. This implies a need for a consolidated political concept – enshrined in the Constitution and unifying all social strata – that serves as a scientific and methodological basis for strategizing the state’s political, sociocultural, and economic future. Crucially, such an ideology must also function as a practical guideline for direct action applicable to every member of society.
