The Evolution of Mathematics as a Quest for the Own Forms

Abstract

The article deals with the internal relation of the doctrine about the form and substance of Aristotle and Hegel's dialectic. For example, the evolution of the concept of number shows, that any fundamental idea (image or concept in science, in philosophy) is it’s own form. This developing idea is identical to itself. This is manifested in its selfisolation and self-sufficiency. The own forms are extremely stable. A new criterion of truth (existence): if the developing idea is evolving to an own form, then it exists in the sense of connection with all elements of the science system.
