The Antithesis of Naturalism and Formalism. Yesterday and Today
Abstract
The article concerns with the analogy between the current opposition of philosophers-naturalists and conceptualists in analytic philosophy and the opposition delineated at the end of 19th- beginning of 20thcenturies between naturalists (Dewey and others) and so-called formalists, who ignored the organic inclusion of experience into nature and culture.
