Russian Idea as a Historiosophical Problem

Abstract

The author analyses historiosophical conceptions in Russian (mainly slavophilеs) religious philosophy, concerning Russian idea, the tragedy of historical process, and overcoming evil, conditioned by free choice between good and evil. In this connection one can see serious attempts to take off chortages and onesideness of dualism and monism in order to elaborate methodologic principle of monodualism in the works of Berdyaev, Frank, Visheslavtsev, Zenkovsky and other Russian thinkers.
