On the Issue of Social History of Money

Abstract

The article was retracted on July 3, 2020.

The article investigates the social content of the historical development of monetary systems and financial institutions. The social history of money is conceived as a process of money systems and financial institutions development under the influence of conflict between interests of acting and financial elites, classes and intraclass groups, state and private money. It performs the analysis of the neoconservative social project and monetary policy on modern society and social, economic and political consequences of the neoconservative revolution in Western countries.
