Abstract
The article (Part II) examines some basic concepts from «The Paul Ricœur's Dictionary», compiled by French scholars O. Abel and J. Porée. The terms used in Ricœur's ethical and political doctrine, based on the defnition of ethos as «the goal of a good life with and for others within just institutions» («visée de la vie bonne avec et pour autrui dans des institutions justes»), are analyzed.

Abstract
The main distinctive feature of the modern technological risks is the globalization of their consequences. The disastrous effects for society produce changes in the social system in whole. The Chernobyl catastrophe is a warning sign. Expert opinions are often diametrally opposite. But it just opens the possibility for philosophical discussion. In this case eyewitness accounts are equally important, because this is not only a technological, economical and scientifc, but also an ethical, political and social problem.

Abstract
The article examines the challenges facing humanity after nuclear power plant disasters in Chernobyl and Fukushima. The issues considered include the need for construction of a nuclear power plant in the Russian energy industry, constant supervision of nuclear power plants by an independent supervisory authority, the role of the human factor in the risk society, and social responsibility for humanitarian disasters.

Abstract
It's impossible to imagine the future without nuclear energy. So, the most of the countries declaring their programs in this area will continue its implementation. The new nuclear reactors will be safer both in operation and throughout the lifecycle. Holistic view on a complex technical system based on its lifecycle lays down new requirements for engineering education.

Abstract
The article considers the interdependence of different types of nationalism, which may be fnally reduced to two diametrical opposites fundamentally different in essence: civic nationalism and ethnic nationalism. The predominance of one of them leads to the formation of an integrated nation-state or to the emergence of relatively small, not fully sovereign, pseudo-nation-states, respectively.

Abstract
The article is devoted to the problem of modernization in its connection with the process of Chinese civilization's self-transformation. On the one hand, modernization is a necessity, on the other hand, it threatens the loss of cultural and civilizational identity. The only real way to avoid such a prospect is to change without changing, that is to protect the very core of civilization from technological innovations and total Westernization. Such a task requires rethinking of the concept of «modernization» in its connection with a new understanding of historical priorities. Our conclusion reads as follows: China creates a new civilizational synthesis abandoning the orthodox opposition to both capitalism and socialism.

The article formulates the concept of transformation of an individual into the subject of evolution of the social and natural Universum. It shows the lack of any prospects for the infantile social human being, as well as substantiates the necessity for formation of a mature society of mature people.

Abstract
The article proposes to consider slavophilism a paradigm of social development for Russia. The position becomes topical in light of the obvious crisis of the western model of globalization and the crisis of westernism in Russia. The author maintains that in these conditions it's necessary to revise and revaluate historical and contemporary models of social development in order to identify their social potential. Slavophilism is one of these models. It is shown that the study of it will help to identify the most optimum way of Russia's development characterized by the polyphony of ethnic groups, cultures, religions.

Abstract
The article is dedicated to the social philosophy analysis of the features of inter-cultural relations under the conditions of globalization. It is underlined that globalization is a factor transforming cultures and forms of their interrelations. The author investigates the process of intercultural relations in the modern sociocultural space and comes to the conclusion that the dialogue of cultures performs is based on the principles of this communicative space. The effects of globalization on modern society are the appearance of new forms and models of intercultural communication and the change of its subject.
