RUSSIAN WORLD ABROAD

8-17
Abstract
The article gives an overview of historiosophical thoughts on revolution in the works of Russian emigrant thinkers of the 20'* century (B. Yakovenko, S. Frank, L. Karsavin, G. Fedotov, A. Solzhenitsyn). All the considered authors share the effort to find the reasons for revolution, understand the laws of its development. Revolution, interpreted from the historiosophical point of view, appears as a national illness that is difficult to be cured. The author believes that Russian emigrant thinkers gave such answers to the question on the essence of revolution that are still relevant in the beginning of the 2V century.

SCHOOL OF PHILOSOPHISING

PHILOSOPHICAL THOUGHT: RECEPTION AND INTERPRETATION

100-114
Abstract
In this paper I discuss Jean-Luc Marion’s «reduction to givenness». Comparing Marion’s approach to gift with that of Derrida, I show that this enlargement of the area of phenomenology goes in line with the main trends of the contemporary French phenomenology. Furthermore, I demonstrate that Marion views the role of the philosophizing subject in quite a traditional way - as the sovereign holder of absolute truth.

THE INVITATION TO REFLECTION

RUSSIAN PHILOSOPHY: POLES AND VECTORS. ON THE 200TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE BIRTH OF A.I. HERZEN

35-45
Abstract
It is shown that A. Herzen in «Letters on the Study of Nature» comes to the unusual concept of history in which the main idea is the opposition in the history of two forms of Christianity: the false medieval form associated with the church and the true form expressed in the philosophical systems of pantheistic type (G. Bruno, J. Böhme, G.W. Leibniz, I.G. Fichte). The basis for such interpretation of history Herzen finds in the later philosophy of Fichte; under the influence of Herzen and Dostoevsky the same historical concept was later formulated by F. Nietzsche in his treatise «The Antichrist».
46-56
Abstract
Where is the root of deviations between the representative of westerners A.I. Hertzen and slavophils? What could be the point of their substantial unity? Is their nature one and the same or two different ones? Hertzens view was closely connected with slavophils views of Russian community, historical mission of Russia and the character of Western development. But their vision of religion was obviously different, and the author of this article analyses unconscious religiousness in Hertzens atheism.
