PANORAMA OF THE WORLD PHILOSOPHICAL THOUGHT. FOREIGN PHILOSOPHY. MODERN VIEW

67-76
Abstract
This paper aims to provide a new reading of Hegel's philosophy of nature by demonstrating its rootedness in his anthropology. This kind of anthropological analysis makes it possible to question one of the main traditional criticisms of Hegel's philosophy of nature, namely, that Hegel strips nature of all value and endorses its exploitation by man, as well as to reconstruct Hegel's own criticism of any abusive approach to nature. Hegel's politics of nature coincides with his anthropological politics: for Hegel the attitude towards nature is essentially the attitude of the man towards his own soul.
77-84
Abstract
The article considers seeming contradictions in Dharmakirti's Pramanavartti-kakarika through the concept of the «ascending scale of analysis» proposed by G.B.J. Dreyfus in his «Recognizing Reality» and traces this method down to the «expedient truth» teaching as it is expressed in the Lotus Sutra of True Teaching. Refection of expedient truth in modern Buddhist education is also considered here.

CULTURE AND CIVILIZATION. POSTNONCLASSICAL PRACTICES

99-106
Abstract
Social system as an integral self-organizing system is polydetermined and multidimensional, therefore the question of involuntary resettlement requires a complex approach. Involuntary resettlement in many respects depends on the center-periphery relationship. Various forms of social metabolism are analogous to negentropical sources, replenishing the process of order formation, which allows to provide a social system with additional resources, to renew its economic, cultural and information potential. Population movements bring the exchange of human resources, which is a form (channel) of penetration of cultural innovations into a society.

MAN AND WORLD. HUMANITARIAN EXAMINATION

109-118
Abstract
Nuclear disaster in Japan restored public discussion in Russia over safety of nuclear power and whether it makes sense to develop it in future or not. Many media reports contained information on nuclear safety, which was not quite true in refecting the current situation. The main reason for that is the activity of state-owned nuclear power industry, which desperately needs to clean up its public image. This article represents the most common myths about nuclear power and gives correct information on it.

Abstract
The problem of what to do with burnt fuel rods from nuclear power production has not been solved yet. In many countries, attempts to build underground repositories for disposing of the high-level nuclear waste have caused social conficts. Some countries, such as Switzerland, have reacted to this by reforming nuclear waste management towards nuclear waste governance, involving the interested public in decision-making processes to different degrees. Other countries, like Germany, have continued their muddling-through approach. In this article, we analyze nuclear waste governance in those two countries with a focus on modes of modern nuclear waste governance, but also problems governments face during such modernization processes. Finally, we discuss the applicability of our fndings to countries in transition.
